Startup Aims to Transform Lives Through Art
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Feb. 13, 2018) – One Greater Des Moines (DSM) startup company is aiming to transform rooms and lives through art.
Adore Your Walls CEO, Liz Lidgett, and Chief Operating Officer, Kate Wagner, will be the presenters at the February Square One DSM Startup Stories event. Startup Stories is a free monthly networking event geared toward entrepreneurs, investors and those interested in entrepreneurship, that features an interview-style presentation with Square One DSM Executive Director Mike Colwell. The February event is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, 700 Locust St.
Adore Your Walls helps people find artwork for their room, home or office. Numerous studies confirm that people work harder and live happier when there is art on the walls. The easy and affordable art advisory service helps customers find artwork they love to complete their space. Their goal is to help people find art they love for any budget, space and style. Adore Your Walls provides help for overwhelmed art consumers and people who do not think they can afford an exciting, original piece of art.
Lidgett and Wagner will talk about their journey starting a creative business in DSM and creating a market for their service. Colwell will begin the presentation by interviewing Lidgett and Wagner, and then take questions from the audience.
