The Inclusion Award (formerly the Diversity Award) is awarded by The Partnership to honor employers who have championed diversity and inclusion at their businesses and organizations and in the community. To qualify for the Inclusion Award, organizations must be a regional Member or Investor of The Partnership.

Award Selection Council
Each year, a committee of members from The Partnership's Inclusion Council participates in a judges' panel to oversee the selection and presentation of The Partnership's Inclusion Award. Applications are evaluated, finalists are determined, an on-site visit is conducted and the committee convenes for a final assessment to determine the award winner(s).

Economic Impact Awards
The Economic Impact Awards are presented by the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Des Moines Business Record. They are presented in the fall and further enforce the Greater Des Moines Partnership's mission — that Greater Des Moines (DSM) is the best place to grow a business, a career and a future. These annual awards recognize companies for specific business practices such as encouraging involvement in community activities, creating an employee-friendly work environment and building a substantial reputation for integrity and quality.

Future Ready Iowa Summit
The Partnership collaborated with Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) to combine The Partnership's annual education summit with the Future Ready Iowa DSM Regional Summit in alignment with the goals set forth by Education Drives our Greater Economy (EDGE).

Nancy Mwirotsi, Founder and Executive Director at pi515
Nancy Mwirotsi, a native of Kenya, is the Founder and Executive Director of pi515. She has been recognized throughout DSM as a leader for her work with the refugee and immigrant community.
Central Iowa YP of the Year Awards
The Central Iowa Young Professional of the Year Awards honors young professionals who make a difference in the region. These awards are presented by the Young Professionals Connection and Juice.
