Plains Angels looks for members from a broad base of industries and functional experiences who share its vision and will actively contribute to its process.
Members must qualify as accredited investors under federal securities laws. Please refer to the SEC information on the accredited investor requirements. A complete outline of the Plains Angels and angel investor expectations is also available. Read more about Plains Angels governance and principles in this Governing Guidelines document.
Members join to not only generate outsized returns, but also to give back to the community and to help build successful companies. Members also benefit from:

- Cost and time efficiencies gained through deal screening, group presentations, shared due diligence and cooperative term negotiation processes.
- Networking and the ability to co-invest with other local accredited investors with complimentary entrepreneurial and industry expertise.
- Opportunity to learn and grow personal investment abilities both informally from other members and through educational programming sponsored by the Plains Angels.
