The Partnership is seeking proposals from qualified Members to facilitate educational workshops on general business practices for the Top Five For Small Business Series. If you are interested in presenting, please download the RFP and submit it to Christina Moffatt, Director of Small Business Development, no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2018.

The “Top Five for Small Business” series features experts in human resources, marketing, accounting, information technology and more categories that introduce five ideas on specific topics to help small businesses be successful.

Young Professionals Connection is a group of dynamic and talented young people who are committed to making Des Moines a better place. YPC offers countless ways to get involved in the Des Moines community to help carry out their mission to promote an environment that attracts and retains the next generation of young professionals. YLI introduces, develops and fosters leadership skills among students through experiential mentoring and leadership opportunities that enhance self-esteem and encourage involvement in all levels of community life.

Regional Business Events

Business-to-business networking events are open to Chamber Members across Des Moines' Affiliate regions and are held at a different Chamber Member business each month. Regional Business Events include Regional Business After Hours, Regional Lunches and much more. Each of these events offer a unique opportunity to network and boost your professional development. 

Outclass Your Competition

Outclass Your Competition is a half-day examination and instruction of business and dining etiquette. This hands-on workshop will train you to take advantage of your most precious competitive assets — your relationships. Through expert instruction and in-depth training, you can feel confident and ready in any business situation.
