DSM Intern Connection
The DSM Intern Connection event series returned to Greater Des Moines in summer 2026, offering interns and college students opportunities to connect with community leaders, grow their professional networks and experience what makes Greater Des Moines a great place to live and work. The program welcomed a record 517 interns in 2025, highlighting strong demand from both employers and students and nearly 90% of participants say they would accept a job in Greater Des Moines if offered.
Registration for the 2026 DSM Intern Connection opened in spring 2026, and participants attended the following events:

In addition to the core sessions, participants were invited to attend the I-Cubs and Chamber Night Tailgate on June 23, a bonus networking opportunity designed to help interns build connections in a more informal setting.
