Second Annual Global Insurance Symposium Will Return To Iowa In Spring 2015

Executives from Iowa’s internationally-respected insurance companies joined state leaders and Iowa’s Insurance Commissioner Nick Gerhart to announce the return of the Global Insurance Symposium, an event designed to enhance and further the dialogue on the increasing issues facing today’s insurance industry.

The second annual event will be held May 26-28, 2015 at the Downtown Marriott in Des Moines and will provide a forum for insurance professionals and regulatory authorities to share insights into challenges facing the insurance industry. Last year’s event was a huge success, attracting more than 350 participants from around the globe.

A planning committee consisting of Iowa’s leading insurance companies, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), the Iowa Insurance Division, Iowa Insurance Institute, and the Federation of Iowa Insurers will shape the content of the 2015 Global Insurance Symposium.
