Project Spotlight: Casey's Retail Company
Casey’s Retail Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Casey’s General Stores, Inc., is planning to renovate its existing corporate headquarters in Ankeny and construct a two-story addition to the corporate campus, as well as additional parking. The Iowa Economic Development Authority Board awarded Casey’s tax benefits from the High Quality Jobs program for this $34.7 million capital investment. The project is expected to create 101 jobs. A major renovation of the existing corporate headquarters will begin in the spring of 2018 and be completed in the fourth quarter. The construction of a 60,000-square-foot addition will start in the spring of 2018 and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019.
