Out to Lunch Series Returns Today

DOWNTOWN DES MOINES, IOWA – Out to Lunch will return to Downtown Des Moines (DSM) this Wednesday, May 31. Out to Lunch will feature food trucks and vendors along with live music from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Western Gateway Park on 13th Street between Locust Street and Grand Avenue. This event is sponsored by Hubbell Apartment Living.

 

Out to Lunch, which is free and open to the public, creates a fun experience for Downtown DSM employees and residents to mix, meet and mingle with others in a vibrant Downtown DSM setting with live music, food and more. Food trucks and vendors confirmed for Wednesday’s event include Hawaiian Grill, Miss Molly’s Jamaican Patty, Curbin’ Cuisine, Outside Scoop, Street Eats DSM, Yanni’s Grill and Taco Loco. David Zollo will provide live music with a mix of styles including blues, country and more.

 

Wednesday’s event is the second of four this spring and summer. Out to Lunch is also scheduled for:

  • Thursday, June 15 on Walnut Street between Eighth and Ninth Streets.
  • Thursday, July 13 at Western Gateway Park.

Out to Lunch is produced by the Downtown Community Alliance, which is part of the Greater Des Moines Partnership.
