Global Insurance Symposium Schedule Finalized and Registration Open
The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Insurance Division announced today registration is now open and the schedule of events is complete for the Global Insurance Symposium planned for May 20-22, 2014 in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). The Global Insurance Symposium will feature a powerhouse agenda of renowned industry keynote and panel speakers, as well as numerous opportunities for attendees to participate in roundtable and breakout discussion sessions with global insurance leaders. Featured speakers include: Senator Ben Nelson, CEO, NAIC; Vice Commissioner Masamichi Kono, International Affairs of the Japan Financial Services Agency; Governor Tim Pawlenty, Financial Services Round Table; Governor Dirk Kempthorne, President & CEO, ACLI; state insurance commissioners; industry leaders; regulatory representatives from various states, national offices and international organizations; and other experts in the insurance industry from around the world. The symposium provides a venue for industry leaders to converse on the changing nature of the regulation of insurance with a focus on international regulatory issues.
