Discuss The Issues With Political Candidates At Forums

August 28, 2014

With November elections right around the corner, now is the time to get to know the candidates who could represent Greater Des Moines (DSM). The Partnership will host a series of forums in September and October to allow Regional Members to hear the candidates’ visions for the future. Regional Members will have the opportunity to share their own vision for a greater DSM with the candidates. All Candidate Series forums will take place at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. The Partnership’s 2014 Candidate Series is sponsored by MidAmerican Energy.

“We are excited to host the candidates and give our members a chance to participate in candid discussions about the issues that are of concern and importance to the Greater Des Moines business community,” said Joseph Jones, Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy for the Partnership. “These types of discussions are vital to our political process.”
