Community Partners Offer Tornado Support

The region continues to recover after tornadoes and flash flooding impacted numerous residents and businesses over the last several weeks. The Partnership has reached out to local government officials, business leaders, Chambers and economic development partners in each of the communities touched by the recent weather events. Here is some information on opportunities to donate provided to The Partnership by those partners.

• The City of Bondurant has established a Tornado Relief Fund through the Bondurant Community Foundation.
• The Rebuild Marshalltown Fund has been established through the Community Foundation of Marshall County. This is a fund for long-term rebuilding efforts and community needs in Marshalltown. Donations also can be directed to the Marshalltown Central Business District or Mid-Iowa Community Action.
• The Pella Community Tornado Relief Fund has been established through The Well Resource Center.
• The Polk County Flood Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines provides direct support to those impacted by recent flooding.
