Christina Moffatt Named Inaugural 2018 Ivy Women of Business Inspiration Award Winner
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Feb. 20, 2018) – Greater Des Moines Partnership Director of Small Business Development Christina Moffatt has been named the inaugural recipient of the 2018 Ivy Women of Business Inspiration Award by Iowa State University.
Moffatt will be presented with the award on Wednesday, March 21 at the Ivy Women in Business Awards Ceremony at the ISU Alumni Center.
The award was established to recognize women who have dedicated themselves to encouraging other women along the path to success.
Since January 2017, Moffatt has worked at The Partnership helping small business Members in Greater Des Moines (DSM) connect to available resources, with a heavy focus on helping accelerate minority, women and veteran-owned small business growth. Prior to her role at The Partnership, Moffatt most recently served as Regional Director for the Iowa Small Business Development Center, overseeing Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Warren and Marion Counties. She is also the owner of the award-winning Crème Cupcake + Dessert, which she founded in 2010.
