Final Make It OK Virtual Event
The final Make It OK series event, Make It OK During COVID-19, will be held on Thursday, October 6. Hear from Broadlawns Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Dr. Yogesh Shah, Iowa Department of Public Health Zero Suicide Project Evaluator Destinee Woodris and Dr. Lauren Patrick with University Dental Group about coping with COVID-19 and finding mental health resources during this time.

Other upcoming events include the Raising Capital Webinar events, which begin Wednesday, October 7. The first two events in the five-part series for entrepreneurs interested in raising equity capital will include The Process of Raising Capital (8:30-11:30 a.m.) and The Pitch (1-4:30 p.m.).
The next 2020 virtual Candidate Forum Series events will host Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer from 10-11 a.m. Monday, October 7 and Congresswoman Cindy Axne from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 8.
The Untapped Talent series also continues with an event from 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, October 8. Learn about America’s untapped workforce through examining stereotypes associated with disabilities and hear moving stories of those who have overcome barriers to employment.
