Young Professionals Connection 25th Annual Gala to Be Held on July 31
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (April 30, 2025) – The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will host its Annual Gala on Thursday, July 31 from 6 – 9 p.m. The event will be held at The Shop DSM, an event center in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).
This year’s Gala theme is Silver Reflections, inspired by the tradition of marking 25-year milestones with silver, a tribute to YPC’s 25th anniversary and legacy of connecting and celebrating young professionals in DSM.
“Celebrating 25 years gives us a great reason to pause and appreciate how far YPC has come from shaping careers, building leaders and creating lasting connections across Greater Des Moines,” said Cecily Robinson, Board President of the Young Professionals Connection. “We’re excited to reunite with past members, welcome new faces and continue building a community where young professionals can thrive.”
YPC invites current and past members, board alumni and guests to an evening of celebration, connection and conversation. The event will feature dinner, networking and a special program. Guests are encouraged to attend — whether you're a longtime member or joining us for the first time. The evening will honor the legacy of the program, welcome the next generation of leaders and include the introduction of the 2025-26 YPC Board.
Tickets to the Annual Gala are on sale now, $40 for Members and $75 for Non-Members. Additionally, there is an available option to purchase a full table. Tickets can be purchased here.
