Creating moments of surprise and delight is what the Glad You’re Here | Love Downtown DSM series was all about, and the Chalk the Park event on the sidewalks on the southwest side of the Central Library did just that when it ran for the first time in July 2021. The free event asked participants to express their artistic abilities by creating their own chalk masterpieces in Downtown Des Moines (DSM)
