Downtown DSM Outdoor Movie Night

For DSM Visitors and Residents Who Love to Spend Time Together Under the Stars Western Gateway, Downtown DSM Admission: Free and Open to the Public

The Downtown DSM Outdoor Movie Night is the perfect way to enjoy the final days of summer. Attendees can make a night of it when they use the DSM Local Downtown DSM Buying Guide and DSM Local Historic East Village Buying Guide to help choose restaurants to dine at or shops to buy local prior to the movie.

In 2021, people enjoyed the movie “Little Giants” on a 25-foot screen while sitting on blankets and lawn chairs spread out over Western Gateway Park. Almost Famous Popcorn and Beaverdale Confections served up snacks and beverages to round out this family-friendly, under-the-stars experience. Movies are a fun activity with friends, family or coworkers, so all were encouraged to kick back, relax and take in the fresh air during this event.
