Downtown Winter Farmers' Market Comes to Court Avenue in November and December
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Oct. 13, 2021) – It’s time to stock up on winter mittens and hot cocoa in preparation for the 2021 Winter Market! The Winter Market presented by UnityPoint Health — Des Moines will take place in the Historic Court District in Downtown Des Moines (DSM) on Saturday, Nov.20 and Saturday, Dec. 4. The event will take place from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day.
Market vendors will have seasonal local produce, meat, cheese, eggs, jam, jelly, salsa and many other varieties of value-added farm food and local art available for purchase. There will also be breakfast and lunch street food options on-site.
“We are so excited to host the Winter Market to support local vendors and create a festive atmosphere while people shop for holiday goods and gifts,” said Kelly Foss, Director of the Downtown Farmers’ Market. “We encourage Market patrons to bundle up and embrace the season in Downtown DSM.”

The Saturday Market continues during the final three Saturdays in October from 8 a.m. – Noon in the Historic Court District.
