Celebrate Greater Des Moines (DSM) For 515 Day On Monday, May 15
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (May 3, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership encourages all residents and guests of Greater Des Moines (DSM) to celebrate local businesses and restaurants throughout the region on 515 Day — Monday, May 15, 2023.
515 Day is a community-wide effort built to encourage residents and guests to visit and support small businesses, artists, coffee shops, restaurants and more to uplift our region and support our local community.
“515 Day is a great way to show support for our local small businesses who bring vibrancy and character to our region,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, Chief Operations Officer at The Partnership and President of Downtown DSM, Inc. “The Partnership encourages residents to take the time to support their favorite restaurants, artists, shops and other small businesses on 515 Day and throughout the rest of the year.”
The Partnership will also be hosting a local business gift card giveaway with the hyper-local content creator organization, Hummingbirds, on social media in honor of the event from May 12 –17. There will be eight $25 gift cards to local businesses across the region available for eight random winners.
