This year’s World Food & Music Festival from September 20-22 is sure to ignite your taste buds with these five food finds! Chamo, D’s Delectables, Jose’s Tacos, Lumpia & Co. and Mrs. Eggroll all have unique offerings you won’t want to miss. Stop by their booths located in the 13th Street and Grand Avenue area of The Festival to try out their $1 taste items, as well as their other menu items for no more than $6!

Chamo

Venezuela

Chamo will offer Venezuelan cuisine such as Catera Arepa (chicken served with cheddar cheese and avocado), as well as Domino (vegetarian arepa with black beans and white cheese) and Vegan Domino (served with black beans and vegan cheese), among other options. Try the Frescolita, a Venezuelan strawberry soda.

D’s Delectables**

D’s Delectables serves 12-inch crepes filled with blends of sauces, creams and fruit. From a Chicken & Chorizo Crepe to a S’mores Crepe Plate, there are several items to try at this new Festival food vendor.

Try a $3 taco at Jose’s Tacos! Or for a bit more, taste a savory burrito, quesadilla, Mex Philly Sandwich or Mex Loaded Potatoes.

At Lumpia & Co. you’ll find Pork Belly Tocino, Java Garlic Fried Rice & Lumpia, along with Turon (banana and jackfruit dusted with brown sugar, rolled in spring roll wrapper and fried) and Gulaman (jelly-like dessert).

The 2019 World Food & Music Festival will also include both culinary and cultural discovery experiences, a fruit adventure tent, a cooking challenge, meal packaging for those in need of food assistance with Meals from the Heartland, a top food vendor People’s Choice Contest and a naturalization ceremony for the U.S. District Court.
