Jim Coffey, Iowa DNR Forest Wildlife Biologist, will join us at the Des Moines Izaak Walton League Tuesday, 4343 George Flagg Pkwy, Des Moines 50321, Tuesday April 2 at 6:45 p.m. to get you up to date for the 2024 spring Turkey season! Jim will talk about population trends, habitat and techniques, along with tips on how to have a safe hunt this year. Admission to Jim's talk at 6:45 p.m. is FREE and open to the public, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. available for purchase.
