Description

This June, Momentum will present a series of immersive art experiences through the perspectives of artists with disabilities. The exhibition features artists Abby Niederhauser and Leo Bird and their experiences with autism as well as other artists and their experiences with mental health. Take Up Space will be open to the public the first few weeks of June, with an opening reception Friday, June 2, 2023. Take Up Space will will create space for us as a community to learn from each other, address stigma and normalize conversation around mental health and disability through art.
