Iowa International Center is excited to announce its new event SpiceFest presented by Lola's Fine Hot Sauce. Exile Brewing will participate as the Venue Sponsor, Local 5 - We are Iowa participating as Media Sponsor, and the Sehgal Foundation as Community Partner. This new event for the Des Moines area is focused on international flavors and local cuisine, while celebrating the delicious melding of culture and taste here in Iowa. The event will be held on June 18th at Exile Brewing in downtown Des Moines from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This event features local vendors for hot sauce, spices, rubs, and all other kinds of products. We will also have our soothing vendors for ice cream and other dishes to help you beat the heat. Exile Brewing will be partnering with select local vendors to create an exclusive limited menu for the event. During the event, attendees will vote on their personal favorite item to select the "People's Choice" which will be featured on Exile's menu at the Taproom. A panel of judges with representatives from Local 5, Exile Brewing, and other local celebrities will sample the vendors products for their "Judges Pick", and fight the burn to find the "Hottest of the Bunch" for the hottest product of the day. Ticket proceeds from the event will go to the Iowa International Center and support their mission of fostering meaningful connections through out Iowa.
