Experience the Garden using ALL of your senses at our Seasonal Shinrin-yoku Series! Shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing,” is the Japanese philosophy of immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere in order to reap the restorative benefits. Forest bathing boosts immunity, lowers blood pressure and stress hormones, prevents and relieves stress and anxiety and increases cognitive functioning. Guided forest bathing walks are appropriate for all ages and abilities. Each session will end with a nature-based tea ceremony. Sign up for one, or all the sessions in this series and experience the Garden through the seasons. Enjoy complimentary admission to the Garden included with event registration! AND enjoy the Garden a full hour before it opens to the public during this morning experience! Ages 16+.
