Description

Scarce Elementz is a nationally recognized mural and graffiti crew responsible for small and large scale murals throughout the U.S, including California, Denver, Chicago, Indiana, Arizona, New Mexico, and Iowa. The small circle of crew members hail from Arizona and California, along with the sole member from Iowa, known to Des Moines as ASPHATE. Clientele includes the Phoenix Suns NBA franchise, the Nascar sanctioned Iowa Speedway, multiple DMPS schools, etc. Scarce Elementz has also established local impact, as facilitators of graffiti workshops for several DMPS highschools through Movement 515, and as creators and co-hosts (with the support of the Des Moines Social Club) of Color Codes, Iowa's largest graffiti writing exhibition, returning this August. On this date, (August 17th) four of the six active members will be presenting their first Iowa-based indoor art show, featuring custom work available for viewing and purchase. Music will be provided by Maxilla Blue's Dj TouchNice of CSR and Galapagos4.
