Neil Hamilton will talk about his new book "The River Knows" Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Des Moines Izaak Walton League, 4343 George Flagg Pkwy, Des Moines 50321 at 6:45 p.m. Copies will be available for purchase and signing! Neil was the director of the Drake Agricultural Law Center for over 30 years. He grew up on a farm in Adam's County. He wrote the book The Land Remains about his farm and farming in Iowa. The River Knows is about the impact of modern farming on our rivers. He focuses on the Raccoon River. Thanks to Alice Meyer and her staff at Beaverdale Books for setting up this event! Admission for the talk at 6:45 p.m. is FREE and open to the public! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. available for purchase.
