CSA is honored to celebrate Momentum’s 20th-anniversary Works of Growth & Recovery exhibition at Mainframe Studios with a special preview event on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024. Enjoy appetizers and refreshments while getting a sneak peek of the show, meeting its artists and hearing from guest speakers and our juror, Gabriella Torres. Guest speaker, Katie Gazzo, will share her compelling experience being a Momentum Artist and how it transformed her life, grew her confidence and provided her with lasting relationships. Poet and speaker, Kelsey Bigelow, will share her experience as a mental health poet who promotes poetry as therapeutic tool with audiences of all ages across the world. Momentum Arts is the award-winning program of CSA that fosters the transformative power of art to build confidence, inspire hope and develop resiliency for those living with a disability or mental health condition. Developed 20 years ago as a yearly exhibition, Momentum now serves hundreds each year through its outreach activities and art studio located within Mainframe Studios. Its annual exhibition helps dismantle stigmas that surround mental health and disabilities by placing its talented artists among artists of all abilities and the public.
