Join Gale Brubaker, executive director of the West Des Moines Historical Society, as she discusses the Underground Railroad in Iowa with a focus on the historic Jordan House in West Des Moines. The presentation also will include insights from Ricki King, a genealogist and mentor for Forever Free, and university students who participated in the Forever Free program and will share results of their research and introduce some of the heroes, heroines and helpers of the Underground Railroad in central Iowa.
