Join Kimberly Grandinetti and Kate Honer Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Des Moines Izaak Walton League, 4343 George Flagg Pkwy, Des Moines 50321, to find out about the Iowa Environmental Health Association! The Iowa Environmental Health Association’s vision is to improve the quality of life for All Iowans through environmental protection and the promotion of public health. Come learn about Environmental Health programs in Iowa, the professionals that serve our state and help us explore avenues where our agencies may be able to work together towards common goals to protect the environment. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and admission for the talk at 6:45 p.m. is FREE and open to the public! A fried chicken dinner is available for purchase, and service begins at 6 p.m.
