Ceramics takes center stage at Mainframe Studios' 4th annual ceramics invitational. Local artists exhibit clay sculpture and pottery, plus a visit from Central Academy students, and four floors of open studios. FLORA + FAUNA / A group exhibition featuring sculpture and pottery exploring the natural world. Visit the 4th-floor gallery to see the show. Exhibiting artists include Emily MacFarland, Marion Nehmer, and more. CERAMICS INSTALLATIONS / Find a variety of special installations throughout our building featuring work from Mainframe ceramicists. Including Linda Lewis, Jami Milne, Diane Hayes, and more. CENTRAL ACADEMY / The Central Academy pottery program brings young potters to showcase their explorations in ceramics. Sale proceeds support the Central Academy Ceramics program. JOHN CROCKETT-PERSON / Visit our 3rd-floor gallery to see a media-melding exhibition of shadowbox scenes inhabited by ceramic fairytale-like creatures. WHEEL THROWING / Visit The Blok DSM in studio #101 for a wheel-throwing demonstration. Plus, check out their inventory of clay bodies and glaze colors. LIVE MUSIC / Experience the acoustic elegance of Pullin' Strings, a musical duo of singer/songwriter David Williamson, and harpist Pat Boddy. FOOD + DRINK / Tangerine Food Co serves food and drinks in our contemporary window-lined event space. OPEN STUDIOS / Explore four floors of studios filled with talented artists and arts nonprofits!
