Event Information
Description
Join us for this community, family-friendly event honoring Edna Griffin, Iowa civil rights activist, who made the historic 1948 sit-in at Katz Drug Store and advocated for justice her entire life. We'll celebrate the re-use, rehabilitation and craftsmanship that have brought new life to this National Register building. Experience the way that architecture speaks, bringing forth stories from the past that help us understand our share history.
