Iowa's Biggest Outdoor Event, The Iowa Outdoor Expo for Kids and Families is back, presented by the Des Moines Izaak Walton League! Don't miss out on a FREE fun filled day of family adventures on Saturday, September 24 at Water Works Park in Des Moines from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Attendees at this free event will have the opportunity to try out archery, fishing, canoeing, see some of Iowa's most magnificent wildlife up close with live animal presentations and much more. You can also explore a buckskinners encampment complete with cooking, tomahawk throwing, and other period activities and crafts! There are no admission or parking fees. This is truly a family event!
