YPC Day at the Ballpark
As a Greater Des Moines (DSM) native there are many things that signal the start of spring to me in the region: walking around Gray's Lake, Downtown Farmer's Market and catching an Iowa Cubs game just to name a few.
A Summer Tradition in DSM
Watching the I-Cubs play is a long standing tradition for many baseball fans in DSM. Even if you aren't a fan, or like me and you don't know anything about baseball catching an I-Cubs game should be a part of your spring time "To Do" list. It's a great way to spend time outside, catch up with friends, and if you're in attendance on a Friday night watch the fireworks that go off at the end of the game!
An even better way to watch the I-Cubs is with your fellow YPs! On May 16 Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will host YPC Day at the Ballpark. Join YPC members and members of other area YP groups for networking in the left field veranda then take your seat in Section 5 to catch the rest of the game. Tickets for the event are just $5! This is a members-only event so if you aren't a member register and if your membership is about to expire remember to renew!
