Tauscheck Earns Elite Certification

July 24, 2020

Tiffany Tauscheck Headshot(GREATER DES MOINES, IOWA) Friday, July 24, 2020 — Tiffany Tauscheck, Chief Strategy Officer at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has been designated as a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is an association of more than 9,000 professionals from 1,500 chambers of commerce, including 93 of the top 100 U.S. metro areas.

The CCE designation signifies the highest quality of performance in chamber management. The program assesses and tests the applicant's knowledge of core chamber management areas, including management, planning, development, membership, communications and operations. It’s the only globally-recognized certification program exclusive to the chamber of commerce industry.

“While Tiffany continues to be an innovative leader in our region, she also has established herself as thought leader in our industry at the national level,” said Jay Byers, CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “The CCE certification recognizes Tiffany’s experience, expertise and commitment to our profession.”

Tauscheck is one of six chamber professionals to earn the Certified Chamber Executive designation in 2020. The six leaders represent chambers of commerce in six states, including Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas.

“We are thrilled to have this year’s class join a long tradition of professional excellence,” said Matt McCormick, CCE, IOM, president of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce (Mo.) and CCE commission chairman. “Chamber professionals who are designated CCEs have earned this recognition through hard work, countless hours of dedication to the chamber industry and leadership of their chamber to achieve the organization’s goals.”

The first CCE designation was conferred more than 40 years ago. CCE is recognized as the highest, and most elite, professional designation in the chamber of commerce profession.

Tauscheck earned the Institute for Organizational Management (IOM) designation from U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2019 and was named a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) from Destination Marketing Association International in 2015. She is chair of ACCE’s National Marketing & Communications Advisory Board and also served on the World Chamber Federation’s Digital Strategy Task Force.

Tauscheck leads strategic planning and Investor relations in addition to overseeing The Partnership’s Communications and Marketing Team. She has been a leader on a number of community boards, projects and initiatives, including serving on the UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Board of Directors, Bravo Greater Des Moines Board of Directors, Principal Charity Classic Board of Directors, Central Iowa Water Trails Board of Directors, Lauridsen Skatepark Campaign Cabinet, a founder of Art Route DSM and a founder and past-president of the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce.
