Partnership Launches Future Ready DSM Podcast

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (July 7, 2021) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has launched a new Future Ready DSM podcast series. The Future Ready DSM podcast provides a snapshot of the future world of work and shares insights on the employment landscape for people who are just entering the workforce as well as those looking to advance in or change their career paths. Each episode will feature local or national leaders and experts on the latest trends in talent development in Greater Des Moines (DSM). The podcast is hosted by Dr. Marvin DeJear, Senior Vice President of Talent Development at The Partnership.

The first podcast episode of the series is available today and features Beth Townsend, Director of Iowa Workforce Development. Townsend gives an overview of the state’s current employment situation and efforts to prepare students for future jobs. A podcast episode set to publish on July 21 will feature economist James Chung, who gives an analytical perspective of DSM’s economy.
