Opening Night Legislative Reception is on Jan. 10

The Greater Des Moines Partnership and its 24 Affiliate Chambers of Commerce from across Greater Des Moines (DSM), along with the Young Professionals Connection (YPC), Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute and Capital Crossroads, will host the 2022 Opening Night Legislative Reception on Monday, Jan. 10. The event will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Des Moines Heritage Center, 120 E. 5th St. in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). 

The reception will welcome the 89th Iowa General Assembly to the 2022 Legislative Session. Attendees can sample hors d’oeuvres from restaurants and vendors representing Chambers of Commerce from throughout the region. 

“This is a great opportunity for members of the DSM business community to interact with state elected officials as they begin their session,” said Andrea Woodard, Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy at The Partnership. “We also encourage attendees to discover and enjoy the recently renovated Des Moines Heritage Center.”

Registration is $25 for Partnership Investors, Affiliate Chamber Members, YPC Members, Leadership Institute Members and Capital Crossroads Chairs, and $40 for non-members. Register on The Partnership’s website.
