Jim Plas Joins CDS Global As Chief Product Officer

CDS Global, the leader in end-to-end business process outsourcing, today announced that Jim Plas has joined the company as chief product officer. With responsibility for global product strategy and execution, Plas will manage the critical functions of developing new products and services, enhancing existing product offerings and ensuring CDS Global's solutions meet the needs of the diverse clients and industries the company serves.

Plas brings 15 years of experience and leadership in product management, marketing, sales, business development and customer data management to his role at CDS Global. He most recently served as vice president of marketing for Xplore Technologies, a leader in rugged computer tablets. For six years prior, he held executive roles at Acxiom, a $1.1 billion data services company, serving as vice president of customer data integration and vice president of product management and marketing. Additionally, Plas worked as the director of product management for global enterprise solutions at Dell and as a principal consultant at Data General (now EMC Corporation) and Microsoft.
