Greg Brown, Anna Nalick to Headline Singer Songwriter Music Festival
The Downtown Community Alliance (DCA) is pleased to announce the second Music Under the Canopy event: The Singer Songwriter Music Festival, presented by Community Choice Credit Union, will take place July 11-13 at Brenton Skating Plaza in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).
The Singer Songwriter Music Festival presented by Community Choice Credit Union will feature headliners Greg Brown and Anna Nalick. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and can be purchased at musicunderthecanopy.com. Additional lineup announcements will be made in the days to come, along with a three-day festival pass offering.

“We’re looking for this festival to have a different vibe,” says Glenn Lyons, President & CEO of the Downtown Community Alliance, “The Singer Songwriter Music Festival will have reserved seating, a departure from the general admission standing room only format you’ll find at the Americana Music Festival at the end of June.”
Music Under the Canopy is a series of weekend summer festivals at Brenton Skating Plaza in Downtown DSM on June 20-22 (Americana), July 11-13 (Singer-Songwriter) and August 1-3 (Jazz). The series will be the first set of concerts taking place under a one-of-a-kind canopy that was installed at Brenton Skating Plaza in May.
