Celebrate the New Year with the Family at GuideOne ImaginEve!
GuideOne Insurance, along with the Downtown Community Alliance invites families to ring in the New Year at Des Moines' biggest New Year's Eve party for kids — GuideOne ImaginEve! on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Hy-Vee Hall, 730 Third Street, in Downtown Des Moines. New for 2013, kids and families will enjoy a countdown to the New Year with a Times Square-like confetti drop at 8 p.m. The evening will wrap up with a spectacular fireworks show from the top of the Seventh Street Park & Ride at 8:15 p.m.
This free family-fun event features inflatable rides and bounce houses, mascots, carnival games with prizes, costumed characters, a Toddler Zone and live entertainment. For kids ages 10 and up, GuideOne ImaginEve! offers a Tween Zone with the Iowa Wild's Slapshot hockey, Log Slammer, Game Truck, and Laser Tag.

This one-of-a-kind event encourages family members of all ages to enjoy New Year's Eve in a safe, responsible way and participate in a wide variety of activities. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Free parking is available at the Seventh and Center Street parking ramp and at Community Choice Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium parking lot.

Party Rentals.
