• Wednesday, Sept. 10, Wednesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025 from 12:30 - 3 p.m.: The Walk-In Wednesday Welder Hiring Event with Arcosa Careers will take place at the Arcosa Wind Towers in Newton, 801 N. 19th Ave. E in Newton. Onsite interviews and welding tests will be provided, and everyone with welding experience is encouraged to attend. Candidates must dress appropriately (long-sleeve shirt, jeans, steel toe/leather boots and welding PPE).

• Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025 from 2:30 -4:30 p.m.: Iowa Wild is holding a career fair at the Casey's Center (233 Center St. in Des Moines). Attendees will receive one free ticket for the Iowa Wild game at 7 p.m. that night!

The IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center will be parked at WeLift Job Center (106 East 2nd Ave. in Indianola) on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Participants can meet with local employers, conduct job searches, build resumes, etc. See the flyer for more information.
