Why DSM USA?

The Greater Des Moines (DSM) region is uniquely stationed as a logistical sweet spot. The area is located at the convergence of Interstates 80 and 35, is part of the USMCA corridor, boasts access to three Class I railroads at a regional transload facility in Des Moines and also has a foreign trade zone. Furthermore, the nearby Iowa State University and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) provide a strong talent pipeline for logistics, supply chain management, transportation and other complementary degrees and trades. With a cost of doing business 12% lower than the national average (Moody’s Analytics) and accolades like #1 Best Place for Young Professionals in 2023 (Forbes), companies can do something greater here while making their dollar go farther, too.
