With a lineup of more than 130 vendors, the Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market is the perfect chance to stock up for holiday meals, parties and gift giving. Farmers are onsite at Capital Square and Kaleidoscope at the Hub, selling a variety of locally raised products such as eggs and cheese, beef, pork, duck, and holiday hams, as well as late-season and greenhouse produce. Shoppers can also bring home an abundance of fresh handmade products, including locally produced honey, jams, salsa, wine, cheese, noodles, breads, pies and cinnamon rolls! For shoppers looking for a little holiday flair, poinsettias, fresh-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, handmade holiday ornaments and home decorations are available to purchase at the Winter Farmers’ Market in Downtown Des Moines (DSM)!
