Welcome To DSM USA Reception Set For Saturday, Oct. 21 At Scenic Fall Location

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Sept. 21, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will hold its next Welcome to DSM USA Reception on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Howell’s Garden and Pumpkin Patch (3145 Howell Court in Cumming) from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 

The Welcome to DSM USA Reception series was created to celebrate new Greater Des Moines (DSM) residents who have chosen to build their career, future and lives in the DSM region. Attendees can meet and mingle with other new residents, while also enjoying their favorite fall treats and activities.  

“This is a great opportunity for new residents to meet each other, learn more about the region, and enjoy a day at a local attraction,” said Jenae Sikkink, Senior Vice President of Talent Development at The Partnership. “We encourage people to bring their families and enjoy Howell’s Garden and Pumpkin Patch during a perfect time in the fall season.”  

Admission to the Welcome to DSM USA Reception is $5 to attend to cover the cost of entrance to Howell’s. Everyone two and older requires a ticket for entry.
