DSM Summer Intern Series to Return on June 10
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (May 5, 2021) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced its intern series, DSM Intern Connection, formerly known as Seize the City, will return in a hybrid format this summer. All interns and college students working in Greater Des Moines (DSM) are invited to attend. The series contains various networking events designed to engage summer interns with business and community leaders, young professionals and other interns while incorporating exposure to many quality-of-life amenities and professional development opportunities in the region. All events are free to attend. DSM Intern Connection is also exploring potential additional in-person social opportunities. The current 2021 events include:

Any student interested in participating in the summer DSM Intern Connection program and receiving program updates can join the DSM Intern Connection group on LinkedIn.
“The DSM Intern Connection is a great way for summer interns to connect with each other and get to know the DSM community,” said Marvin DeJear, Senior Vice President of Talent Development at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “We encourage local employers to share information about the program with their interns as this can be a step in helping them choose to live and work in DSM after graduation.”
