DSM Fellowship Program Welcomes Class of 2020-2022
(GREATER DES MOINES, IOWA) Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020 — The second class of the DSM Fellowship Program, an initiative of the Greater Des Moines Partnership, held its virtual “kick off” session for the 2020-2022 class the morning of Aug. 5. This two-year program is a preeminent professional development initiative designed to attract, develop and retain a diverse community of top-tier talent as next-generation leaders in their companies and our community.
Participants are selected by companies throughout the Greater Des Moines (DSM) region to engage in four key program areas: civic engagement, leadership connections, professional development curriculum modules and social activities. Through the program, companies invest in developing high-potential young talent, while participants are exposed to opportunities designed to accelerate their professional and personal experiences through connections with business and community leaders. Sponsoring companies and the community at large also benefit from the Fellows’ increased understanding of, and engagement in, current and planned strategies to grow DSM.
