Financial Planning Seminar for Families Caring for Loved Ones with Special Needs

Easter Seals Iowa and Connect The Dots 4 Life are offering a seminar for families who want to learn more about providing a lifetime of protection for their loved one with a special need or disability. The seminar will take place Tuesday, July 29 from 7-8 p.m. in the Urbandale Library Meeting Room A/B, 3520 86th St. Urbandale, IA 50322.

The seminar will focus on aspects of a life care plan, which incorporates basic needs and strategies for achieving the best quality of life in every area — shelter, health, finances, family life, entertainment, employment, retirement and so forth — now and for the long-term. When it comes to the design of a life plan for individuals with disabilities or other special needs, all parties must ensure that good intentions are carried out properly. Whether you're a person with a special need or disability, a caregiver, a sibling, a spouse or a partner, an advisor, or related in some way, we invite you to join us for a discussion about putting best intentions to life with a purposeful plan.
