Dave and Trudy Hurd to be Honored by Iowa Legal Aid

Iowa Legal Aid will induct Dave and Trudy Hurd into its Hall of Fame on March 26, 2015 at Equal Justice After Hours. Dave and Trudy are passionate and generous advocates of justice, providing long-time support for Iowa Legal Aid. They make Iowa a better place by providing leadership for many justice-related issues involving food security, immigrants, refugees, the environment, and the LGBT community. Their many accomplishments promote Iowa Legal Aid’s goal of providing Hope, Dignity and Justice to low-income Iowans.

Equal Justice After Hours is the Iowa Legal Aid Foundation’s annual fundraising event that showcases the positive impact Iowa Legal Aid makes in the lives of its clients. The event will be held at the Temple for the Performing Arts in Downtown Des Moines (DSM) on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 5 – 7 p.m. Tickets are $50, and event sponsorships that will support Iowa Legal Aid are available.
