As I saw the town growing, I knew I could help further the interests of the businesses.

What’s a Signature Offering of Your Chamber?

PCCEDC offers a Gold Membership to our businesses. Gold memberships provide more visibility and networking opportunities for the business, including sponsorship perks at the annual golf outing and fall bike ride.

What is Your Chamber’s Biggest Accomplishment in the Past 12 Months?  

Just this month Polk City welcomed RVTV for the first time on Monday, Sept. 9 for WHO-TV’s week-long tailgate before the Cy-Hawk game. Polk City’s Town Square was their first stop.

What Initiative/Project Are You Looking Forward to in 2019?

As the town continues to grow, we are looking at providing more opportunities for networking and engaging businesses and the community.

What Are Your Upcoming Events?

The Square Lighting is a town favorite and will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Polk City claims the only Town Square in Polk County. Celebrations include a square lighting countdown, Santa’s arrival by firetruck, carriage rides and various business’ holiday Open House events.
