What Inspired You to First Get Involved with Your Chamber?

When Fareway opened in Carlisle back in 2014, it made sense as a new business to become involved with the Chamber, which offered a means of networking. The Chamber offers many opportunities for networking, including luncheons, ribbon cuttings and annual holiday events. Find a complete events list here.

What is Your Chamber’s Biggest Accomplishment in the Past 12 Months?  

We hired a new executive director, reorganized and clarified our direction in 2019. Find out more about networking and marketing opportunities, volunteer involvement, educational workshops and sponsorship opportunities.

What Are Your Top Goals for the Rest of This Year?

We have begun to have success sponsoring community events. Chamber members have the ability to co-sponsor events and activities. Members have received positive feedback from these opportunities.

What Upcoming Events People Should Watch For?

Light Up Carlisle will take place Sunday, December 15 at North Park. Families are invited to visit Santa and drive through the park, which will be lit by luminaries and inflatables. Learn more about Light Up Carlisle.

In January, each Chamber of Commerce is invited to the Legislative Opening Day Reception. At this event, Chambers and partner organizations can meet Iowa legislators, sample hors d’oeurvres from local vendors and more. Tickets are available for this event.
