Downtown DSM’s house music venue is bringing “European dance music royalty” to its stage this Friday. Darude is the DJ behind the hit dance-electronic platinum single, “Sandstorm,” released in 1999 and continuing in EDM popularity today.

Friday, March 1 – Sunday, March 3 | Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center
The Iowa Deer Classic brings together hunting enthusiasts from around the state and Midwest for three days each year. Shop the latest gear, bring your bow for tournament shoot opportunities, attend informational seminars, find activities for kids and youth, and consider entering one of several contests like the antler shed contest, big buck contest and more. Even non-hunters will find the vast display of big bucks a sight to see!

Sound Healing + Restorative Meditation

Wednesday, March 6 | Des Moines Ballroom Dance Studio
This free, open-to-all, 45-minute class by Above + Beyond Cancer provides therapeutic application of sound frequencies using crystal bowls and other sound-healing instruments. The goal is to facilitate harmony and health through the balance of mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Attendees can bring a blanket for their own comfort; yoga mats will be provided.
