• I Spy NYE Party at Voodoo Lounge — Features live music, drinks and VIP booths on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 starting at 9 p.m.
• Family New Year’s Eve Party at Big Grove Brewery — Celebrate with kid-friendly fun on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, with balloon drops at Noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Party features include a music playlist for dancing and countdown videos with the Times Square ball-drop on a big screen. Ring in the New Year without keeping the kids up late

• Iowa Wild Vs. Texas Stars New Year’s Eve Bash at Casey's Center — Features post-game fireworks on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 with the game beginning at 5 p.m.
• New Year's Eve Goodie Bags at Central Library — Grab a New Year's goodie bag at the Central youth desk (one per child, while supplies last) all day on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
• Noon Year’s Eve at Science Center of Iowa — Features a balloon drop at Noon to celebrate family time on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 with the entire event taking place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• New Year’s Eve Pops at Des Moines Civic Center — Features the Des Moines Symphony and world-renowned Cirque performers from Troupe Vertigo on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 at 8 p.m.
• Noce’s 11th Annual WILD Party at Noce Jazz & Cabaret — Features a jazz orchestra fronted by Max Wellman, Andrew Walesch Gina Gedler, Tyona Diamond, Amelia & Logan Hillman and Napoleon Douglas, among other special guests, on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 at 8 p.m.
